  1. I just received the book "Beautiful Oops" by Barney Saltzberg". I love the book and I will be thinking of ways to do projects with the younger students.

  2. I'd love to see what you and your students do with the book! I had a parent just last week tell me how grateful she is that I did this project with her daughter (a first grader who was always getting frustrated with herself because her art wasn't "perfect"). And I really do hear the kids say to each other at least two or three times a day, "Don't worry...it's a beautiful oops...remember?" I just can't express how great this book has been for helping my perfectionists stop being so hard on themselves, and their creativity BLOSSOMS because they're not afraid to make mistakes!

  4. Hello Barney! What a treat!! So glad you found us out here in the great Internet universe. :) I've used your book with classes this year but didn't get photos posted. I still use it at the start of classes to get my young artists' thinking creatively and without fear. Thank you! And thank you so much for letting me know you were here!
